What Will You Tell Your Grandkids

You know, some times I just think about what my life will be like when I’m old and I have a bunch of grandkids running around my house.

Whether I want to believe it or not, one day I will be an old man, and I will have to live with all my choices and decisions I’m making now.

What about you?

Are you living life the way you should?

When you are old and grey and your grandkids ask you to tell them a story, will you be able to tell them stories about your amazing accomplishments and how you persevered through adversity and achieved your goals?

Or are you going to tell your grandkids stories about other people who were able to achieve their goals and strive for greatness?

It’s never too late to start being the man or woman you know you should be.

It’s never too late to start taking responsibility for your life.

It’s never too late to start dreaming again and start believing that you can be someone who people can look up to.

I don’t know about you, but I want my grandkids to be amazed when I tell them all the great things I did in my life.

I want to be able to reflect on my life and say, “yes I made mistakes and I failed a few times, but I never gave up, and I was able to achieve a lot because I was willing to take risks and follow my heart.”

Look, in case you haven’t figured it out yet, nobody is perfect, but that doesn’t mean you have to be average.

You can still be excellent, and you can still be above average, and you can embrace challenges in your life and accept that in order to win, you have to be willing to lose.

Get out of your little bubble of comfort and start facing discomfort in pursuit of your goals.

If you really want to do something deep down in your heart, then go and do it!

Yeah I know, easier said than done, but if you want real happiness, then you have to find the courage within to be who you really are.

Happiness is the overcoming of difficulty and struggle.

Think of some of your most happiest moments…..

What made you happy?

I can take a very educated guess and assume that the happiness was created by overcoming some obstacle or difficulty.

Love makes us happy because we’re overcoming the possibility of hate.

Achievement of goals makes us happy because we’re using our will to overcome the will of external sources as well as the will of other people.

If you have gotten complacent and stopped striving towards the achievement of desired goals, then you will deprive yourself of true happiness.

Do you think your grandkids will be impressed when you tell them that you stayed in your comfort zone and didn’t take any risks or make any attempts to achieve greatness?

Do you think your grandkids will be impressed when you tell them you lived a mediocre life?

Will your grandkids look at you in awe as you tell them stories about how you made just enough money to pay your bills, and just enough money to put food on the table and barely had any money left to enjoy life?

Children love superheros, and they love excellence.

Children don’t strive to be ordinary and mediocre, they try to fly, and they think that they have superpowers.

We’re all children in adult bodies but as we grow older we begin to lose our child-like imagination and faith.

You need to go back to your childish ways and start living life the way it was meant to be lived.

Yes we all struggle and it sucks when we have to struggle, but once the struggle is overcome, we get to experience real happiness.

Isn’t that what you want?

Don’t you want to be happy?

I want to help you overcome your lack of financial freedom.

That is one of my personal goals.
