More Sales = More Money
More Money = More Freedom & Choices
If you want to skyrocket your sales and position yourself as the #1 solution in your niche then you need to understand the importance of personal branding.
YOU are a business and you need to brand yourself as such. You’re not some guy or some girl trying to fit in and get your piece of the pie, your goal should be to separate yourself from the crowd and embrace your individuality.
You can take advantage of social media to brand yourself without spending a dime. Once you start getting involved in social media you can start creating the perception of authority by being an authority. All it takes is a consistent effort of displaying your authority in your niche through creating content and engaging with your targeted audience.
Do what you do best and demonstrate it to the world. Don’t hold back. Be YOU 100%. Some will love you and some will hate you, but it’s better to be polarizing than luke-warm.
When you start focusing on personal branding you will start to get the respect and recognition you deserve, and as a result you will see your sales sky-rocket!
If you want more sales and more influence in your niche, then you need to build your fan-base. Fans are cool, but your goal should be to create raving-fans, and this is done by creating massive value in your niche.
You should ask yourself, “How can I inspire people in my niche and become the irresistible go-to-guy/gal in my niche”. Write down everything that comes to your mind as an answer to that question. You will be able to see right away why you’re not getting the respect you deserve.
Your primary goal should be to add value to the community, and this is done by taking your unique talents, skills, and experience and bringing innovative solutions to your market. What can you do differently that will allow you to crush the competition?
Imagine what would happen if you were to become a celebrity in your niche?
How would it feel if your brand was so powerful that it literally had a magnetic affect, attracting your target audience on autopilot?
This is possible and you can achieve it.
People love to buy stuff, but only from those who make them feel good when they buy. If you want people to feel good when they buy, then you must become less of a salesman and more of a leader!
Stop focusing on selling so much and focus on letting your targeted audience sell themselves.
Focus on serving people with the genuine attention of not only helping people, but changing lives and you’re certain to receive a significant boost in financial wealth.
Shift your focus from selling and making money, and focus more on serving and changing lives.
If there ever was a secret to making more money, I believe that is it.
***What Is Your Brand***
How do you identify your brand?
Well, first start by asking yourself the questions below?
What’s your vision?
What do you want to be remembered for?
Get extremely specific as if you’re writing a detailed obituary of yourself.
How do you compare to your competition?
What are your strengths and weaknesses?
What are your competitions strengths and weaknesses?
What makes you unique?
How can you separate yourself from the competition?
What weaknesses does your competition have that you can exploit?
Now, that you’ve answered these questions, we need to make sure you can see yourself building your brand long-term.
***The Secret To Building Your Brand Long-Term***
When you think about your brand does it excite you to wake-up every morning and represent this brand?
Do you see yourself being successful in your niche and enjoying it?
Are you confident in backing up your brand with your name, or are you ashamed of your brand?
The secret to building an unstoppable brand is to do what you enjoy doing so it doesn’t feel like work.
***What Is The Value Of Your Brand***
You must take control of your perception in your niche. When people think about your brand they will ask themselves two main questions.
“Who are you, and why should I buy”?
You must be able to answer these questions in a sentence.
An example would be, Nike and their mission statement which is, “To bring inspiration and innovation to every athlete in the world.” As you can see here Nike is a company that represents the idea of bringing inspiration and innovation to every athlete in the world. Nike co-founder Bill Bowerman said, “If you have a body, you are an athlete”. So, Nike’s brand is all about bringing inspiration and innovation to every human being on earth.
Once you’ve come up with your answer to the two questions above, then you need to formulate it into a mission statement, which is simply a sentence or two that describes what your brand represents.
Once you know exactly what your brand represents, then you must take daily actions that will live up to this mission statement, to build your brand into something real and genuine.
***Your Brand Communication And Visibility***
There are a lot of copycats in the marketplace. People are afraid to be judged, and people are afraid to fail. So, this creates a bunch of mediocre brands in your niche, and if you’re not careful you can become one of them.
To avoid the trap of becoming a mediocre brand, you must communicate your message into the marketplace with authenticity.
Allow your natural personality to shine through your marketing and content.
Don’t allow the fear of judgement to hold you back from being yourself.
Remember, you can’t expect to create fans if you’re not a fan of yourself.
***Your Brand Style And Visual Elements***
What colors capture your personality and represent your brand with style?
Choosing relevant colors and images for your brand is an effective way to make yourself stand out in the minds of your target audience. Mediocre brands don’t take this kind of stuff into consideration, but professionals and those who want to get the edge on the competition will take control of this aspect of branding.
You have the power to create a brand that is larger than life, and this can only be done by finding your way into the imagination of your target audience. The imagination is all about visuals and images, which is why you should take control of this as opposed to leaving it to chance.
***Credibility Through Content***
The best way to start building your brand and your credibility is by creating content and getting it in front of your targeted audience.
They say content is king, but we could even take it further and say that content is your entire kingdom. Creating content that creates a transformational experience should be your goal.
When creating content ask yourself how can you create informative content that is both engaging and emotional. Many people make the mistake of being informative without making any effort to add entertainment to their content marketing, and as a result end up being another mediocre brand in the marketplace. Don’t make this mistake.
By creating content consistently, you will earn more visibility which will lead to more leads, prospects, and sales.
There is an estimate of 3.2 billion internet users in the world, which means you could get your message in front of millions in your niche.
Social media allows you to leverage user-friendly platforms, to generate content and connect with your audience. However, there is a lot of noise and competition on social media, which is why you need to know your brand and how you will separate yourself from the competition.
***Building A Solid Fan Base***
Another great way to build your brand is through list building.
You can start by getting an autoresponder like aweber or getresponse and creating a primary list for your brand.
The most effective way to build your list is by giving away a valuable report or newsletter in exchange for the subscriber’s email address.
If you want to create more value and credibility in the marketplace and build your brand, then you should consider starting a blog. You can setup an optin form as another way to build your list through your blog, but the main purpose of the blog is to display your credibility with your blog posts.
Also, you can take advantage of the traffic on other people’s blogs through blog commenting and guest posts. Blog commenting is as simple as finding relevant blogs and commenting on blog posts with your own relevant contribution.
In addition to blog commenting, you can reach out to other leaders in your niche and see if they’d be interested in having you do a guest blog post. If you focus on creating a lot of value in your guest posts, you can end up creating a bunch of new fans consistently, by reaching out to a few leaders in your niche each week to do a guest post.
Facebook is receiving the most traffic out of any social media platform on the internet, so it’s one of the best places to spend your time building your brand. You can start setting up a facebook profile that positions you as a leader and reflects your brand.
Join relevant facebook groups and focus on contributing to these groups with the mindset of representing your unique brand. If you want to be positioned as the #1 solution in your niche, it should be obvious in your communication that you’re the best. This will require you to pay attention to the details, and make a sincere effort to be of service in your niche.
Forum marketing in active forums has been around for years as an effective way to build your brand, and it still works very well. You can do a simple google search for “your niche + forum” and you will find a ton of forums you can join and participate in.
For example, you could search “weight loss forum” if you were in the weight loss niche. You can then check the forums that come up on the search results and identify whether or not the forum(s) are active. Sign up for the active forums and start contributing in the forums by answering questions and providing value through discussion of your niche topics.
Lastly, I recommend video marketing, which happens to be the first form of marketing that proved to be effective for me in the early stages of my marketing career.
You can start leveraging video marketing by creating a youtube channel for your brand. You can record simple 5-10 minute videos answering questions and solving problems in your niche. Then at the end of every video you can add a call-to-action to join your list and get a free report or free newsletter.
My goal in this report was to touch on different areas I have identified as important when it comes to improving your positioning and increasing your sales in your niche. I hope you found value in this report and hopefully you were able to see areas in your brand that can use improvement, and by making those improvements you will be able to enjoy an increase in influence and sales in your niche. Much success to you!
